Download the SVG by clicking on the link and unzipping the file. You will see several types of files. If you are using your Cricut like I am download the SVG otherwise print out the PDF.
Step 2: Upload the SVG
Upload the SVG to Design Space using the upload button on the left side menu bar and following the prompts. Once you upload the SVG the pieces may not end up exactly where they should be but that is alright they will still cut out properly.
Step 3: Add a Blue Square
Using the shapes button on theft side of Design Space draw a Square that measures 8″ x 8″ and color it blue. Highlight it and click arrange send to back.
Step 4: Make It
Click Make It in the top right corner. Choose on Mat. Use the light blue mat and medium weight cardstock. Follow the prompts to cut out the pieces.
Step 5: Put it Together
Place the blue square on your work surface. Starting with the Black hat glue the gray pieces and the orange buckle to the hat. Place adhesive foam squares to the back of the hat and stick it to the blue square on the top left third.
Step 6: Add the Moon
Add adhesive foam squares to the back of the moon and attach it to the bottom of the hat so it appears that the hat is hanging from the moon.
Step 7: Add the Clouds
Again use the adhesive foam squares ad each of the clouds below the moon.
Step 8: Add the Bats
Place the bats on the piece wherever you would like. I used adhesive foam squares for this.
Step 9: Add the Letters
I cut my adhesive foam squares in pieces and used those to stick on my letters.
Step 10: Place the Halloween Square into the Shadow Box
Place the blue square with all of the pieces on the front glass of the shadow box. Then place the backing pieces and fold over the metal brackets to secure. You have now finished your Layered Halloween Shadow Box.
