With the place card on the canvass go to the top right of the layers panel and clip ungroup.

Step 3: Change from Cut to Score

Highlight the dotted line in the layers panel and go to the operations drop-down menu and change it from cut to score. Highlight the score line and the white card only in the layers panel by selecting them both and holding down the shift key. Click attach at the bottom of the layers panel.

Step 4: Color Sync

If you want to save on cardstock Color Sync the reds, whites and greens so that they are they same color. Do this by clicking on the Color Sync tab at the top of the layers panel and drag and drop the green pieces so that they are the same color green and the red pieces so they are the same color red. I only color synced the green pieces.

Step 5: Add the Name

Using the text tool on the right menu bar add the name to near the bottom of the card in the center. Choose whatever font you like using the font dropdown list. I chose a Cricut font called Cottage Style for mine. make sure that when you place the name on your card that you highlight it and go to the operations menu and turn it from cut to pen. Then highlight just the card and the name and click attach.

Step 6: Make It

Make it. Choose on mat and use the blue mat. Then, choose medium weight Cardstock. Follow the prompts in Design Space to cut out all of the pieces.

Step 6: Put it Together

Using your craft glue, attach the backing to the card so that the straight edge is just under the fold of the card and the rest is sticking up. Add the white candy cane then the red candy canes so that they lineup with the green backing with a little on the outside.

Place the holly leaves on top of the criss-cross of the candy canes so that they match the backing as well. Finally, add the berries and the white agents and you have finished your Christmas place card using Cricut.
