How to Make a Hanging Valentine Cricut Craft

Time to start decorating for Valentine’s Day. If you plan on having a party a few of these would be perfect to decorate your home. This hanging Valentine Cricut Craft is so easy to make that anyone with beginner Cricut crafting skills can make it. This Cricut craft comes with a free SVG and instructions to walk you through it. What you will Need: How to Make a Hanging Valentine Cricut Craft

Step 1: Download and Upload the SVG

If you are unaware of how to download and upload an SVG check out this video.

Step 2: Cut out the SVG

Place a 12″ x 12″ piece of Cardstock onto a blue mat. Highlight everything and click Attach at the bottom of the layers panel. Click Make on Design Space Canvas. Choose “ON MAT”.

Step 3: Choose Material

Browse the Materials and choose Cardstock. Insert the fine point blade.

Step 4: Feed the Mat

Feed the mat into the machine and press go. Cut the SVG.

Step 5: Weed the Cut Out

Roll the cardstock from the mat by lifting the mat and not the cardstock to prevent curling.

Step 6: Put the Pieces Together

There is a slot on each piece. Push the slots together to create the hanger. Add some Bearly Art Glue on the top and bottom to hold it together.

Step 7: Add the Twine

There is a hole at the top. Thread the twine through the top hole and tie a knot. Hang in a fun place.
