How to Make a Vintage Shamrock Truck Using Cricut
I just love these vintage paper craft trucks. They are such fun. I decided to design this vintage shamrock truck using Cricut specifically for St. Patrick’s Day and it came out great. There are a few little pieces to this one but it is really cute and the SVG is free. Is this my first real attempt at Adobe illustrator on anything complex and I thought all in all it came out pretty well. I used the colors of Ireland to really make this project pop. If you would like more free SVGs as they come available check out my free SVG page.
I used my Cricut Maker 3 this create this project but you could use one of the other Cricut cutting machines to create this project. Click Color Sync on the top right corner of design space and drag the black colors so they are the same color and the white colors so that they are the same color. This will allow you to cut the pieces from the same sheet of paper.
Step 5: Make it!
Click Make it. Choose on Mat. Uses the blue mat and cut all of the pieces following the Design Space instructions.

Step 7: Add the Fenders
Add the fenders using your foam dots.
Step 8: Add the Wheels
Place the white circles on the black wheels using Bearly Art glue. On top of the White circles add the black tires also using glue. Finally, add the green shamrock hubcaps to the wheels using glue.
Step 9: Add the Window
Add the window using foam dots.
Step 9: Add the Shamrocks
The Shamrocks are cut out of the background. There is a background that is cut out and a silhouette of the background. Glue them together using glue. Place the shamrocks in their respective places using foam dots to give them dimension. Glue the entire thing to the back of the truck where the stake bed is.
