How to Make a Valentine’s Lollipop Holder using Cricut
This project is a Valentines treat. It is a fun paper crafting project that is perfect for Valentine’s Day and the kids and not so young kids. This Valentine’s lollipop holder using Cricut is a 3D layered paper crafting project that is just plain fun. Add a lollipop to it and it is just perfect to give as a Valentine’s gift. I used standard card stock for my project because that is what I had on hand but you could use glitter card stock to make it perfect for you. What you will Need: How to Make a Valentine’s Lollipop Holder using Cricut
- Bear SVG you can get by clicking on this link
- Cricut
- Red
- White Paperstock
- Light Pink Paperstock
- Dark Pink Paperstock
- Black or brown Paperstock
- Glue
- Lollipop
Step 1: Download the SVG
Download the SVG to your computer. There are six different images. Five that go into making this particular lollipop holder. They are contained in one file so upload the whole file to get the six different images
Step 2: Upload the SVG to Design Space
There are 6 images that make this lollipop holder. You will need to upload all 6 separately using the upload button in Design Space. The first image just shows how to put the holder together. The next five images are the individual components of the lollipop holder.
Step 3: Add to Canvas
Highlight and add each of the images to the canvas separately. Resize images 4,5,6 so that they are 11 1/2″ long to fit on a 12 x 12″ mat. Make sure they are all the same size or they won’t layer properly. Resize image 3 (The hearts) to 6.5″
Step 4: Cut out the Pieces
Once you have resized the images click “Make It.” Place the appropriate colored paper onto the blue mat and cut them out one at a time following the instuctions from Design Space. You will have 13 applicable pieces.
Step 5: Glue the Pieces Together
Start with the white piece. Glue the dark pink pieces onto either side of the white piece. Then glue the light pink pieces then the red heart, Finally, glue the face piece on.
Step 6: Add the Lollipop
Add the lollipop to the holder and glue the top together an give it as a gift. How fun is that?
