How to Make a Layered Golden Retriever Mandala

I love these animal mandalas. They are so cute and fun to make. I started my collection with the layered golden retriever mandala. I was thrilled with how it came out. This is a fun and simple to make Cricut paper craft that anyone would enjoy putting together. It was fun to design and fun to cut out and put together. I used medium weight cardstock and glitter cardstock for my design that I purchased from 12 x 12 cardstock shop. What you will Need: How to Make a Layered Golden Retriever Mandala

Step 1: Download and Upload the Free SVG

I have included a free SVG with this project. You must first download it to your computer and then upload it to recut Design Space. If you are unfamiliar with this process check out this video.

Step 2: Place the SVG into Design Space

Add the SVG to Design Space and resize it to the size you want.

Step 3: Make It

Click Make in the upper right corner of Design Space and follow the instructions.

Step 4: Choose on Mat

After you click Make it. Select “On Mat” in Design Space.

Step 5: Cut out the Pieces

Using your cutting machine cut out ll of the pieces. It should start with the black pieces and then go through each layer. Place your cardstock onto the blue mat and use a brayer to make sure it is secure.

Step 6: Put it Together

Using your craft glue with a precise tip, glue the flower piece to the main dog piece. Then, glue the pink face to the dog. Using your ram dots or cubes place the main face on to of the pink face. Add the ears using foam dots. Glue on the eyes, nose and mouth pieces. You have now finished your layered Golden Retriever mandala.
