How to Make a Clock using Cricut
I took a course called Lovely Layering offered by my friend Sarah over at Craft with Sarah. I would highly recommend the course if you get a chance to take it. One of the projects in the course was a clock that you can design yourself in Design Space. It is a lengthy process so I created my own free SVG instead to make it easier for you. This is a simple Cricut paper craft that you can create using the SVG instead of designing it yourself. If you would like more Cricut crafting projects check out my other Cricut projects here.

Step 1: Download the SVG
Download the SVG to your computer by clicking not the link.
Step 2: Upload the SVG
Upload the SVG into to Design Space by clicking on the upload button on the left canvas menu. From there click upload image and browse your computer to find the Bloom SVG. Click on it and click continue. Then click upload. it will be added to your Design Space library. Once it is in your library. highlight it and click add to canvas at the bottom right corner. Resize it if you like
Step 3: Make It!
Click Make It in he top right corner of Design Space. Choose on Mat. You will first be instructed to cut out the wings of the bees using the light blue standard card stock. Then cut the black bodies of the bees from the standard card stock. The bees are quite small and it took me a few times to get all six cut to my satisfaction so make sure that you have a sharp blade in your machine before staring this project.
Next, you will be instructed to cut the honeycomb flower pattern rom the orange glitter card stock. You will then be instructed to cut the bee hive. You can cut this from glitter or standard card stock. Cut the yellow bee bodies from standard card stock. Finally, cut the gold flower and the yellow flower with the numbers using glitter card stock.
Step 4: Put the Bees Together
Using glue place the yellow bee bodies behind the black bee bodies to make them sturdier to work with. Once you have placed the bee bodies together add the wings. The larger wings on top and the smaller wings on the bottom. You will probably have to use tweezers for this.
Step 5: Place the Flower Pieces Together
Using the foam pads place the orange honeycomb piece onto the gold outer piece rotating the honeycomb piece. You will have to cut the foam pieces to fit them onto the honeycomb pieces. Once you have placed the honeycomb flower onto the gold flower, use the foam dots to place the flower with the numbers onto the honeycomb flower.
Step 6: Add the Bees and Beehive
Using glue add the beehive and the bees.
Step 7: Add the Clock Mechanism
Following the manufacturer’s instructions add the clock mechanism to the clock. Tape the mechanism to the clock to prevent it from moving. Add the battery and hang it on the wall. You have now finished your cock using Cricut.
