How to Make a Crepe Paper Sunflower

I came across this tutorial on YouTube by Abbi Kirsten and decided to create my own SVG to help out with the creation of these terrific crepe paper sunflowers.

It was such a fun project to do but a little time consuming. Regardless, it was well worth it.

STEP 1

Download the SVG Download the SVG to your computer by clicking on the link. Unzip the file.

STEP 2

Upload the SVG to Design Space Using the upload button on the left side menu of Design Space upload the SVGs of the small petals, large petals and leaves following the prompts.

STEP 3

Cut the Petals and Leaves using your Cricut There are two sizes of petals, small and large. Cut 14 small yellow petals and 12 large yellow petals.

STEP 4

Hand Cut the Centers The crepe paper for the center needs to be cut by hand. You will need to cut eight 20″ x 2″ strips of brown crepe paper.
