Uploading Fonts to Cricut Design Space: Easy Tutorial

Fonts are a cornerstone of many Cricut designs. They allow you to make a statement in so many ways. With this in mind there are many different types of fonts to choose from.

There is a way to find Cricut fonts, System fonts and to upload new fonts to Cricut Design Space. Let’s learn how.

MATERIALS NEEDED

– Computer – Internet – Font websites

STEP 1

Open Cricut Design Space First open Cricut Design Space canvas. Click on the T for text.

STEP 2

Click Text Once you click on the T you are going to get the word TEXT. Look at the top of the canvas for the font type. There is a drop down menu where you can choose one of numerous fonts.

STEP 3

Get New fonts There are a number of places to buy quality fonts and a few great places to get free fonts too. Swipe up to see the lists.

STEP 4

Download New font Go to the website of your choice and choose a font. Go to downloads folder then click install and it's automatically added to Cricut Design Space.

STEP 5

OTF and TFF If you are given the option between OTF and TFF choose the OTF. The difference between the two is primarily that OTF has ligatures, glyphs, small caps, and alternate characters.
