The Cricut Method for Creating a Permanent Vinyl Welcome Plaque

Welcome your guests with this adorable permanent vinyl and wood welcome plaque using Cricut. This project comes with a free SVG to make it super simple to make.

MATERIALS NEEDED

•SVG •Cricut •Wood circle •Permanent vinyl •Transfer tape •Stapler •Twine

STEP 1

Download the SVG

Click on the link and download the free SVG to your computer.

STEP 2

Upload the SVG from your computer to Design Space. Do this by clicking on the upload button at the bottom left menu on the Design Space Canvas.

STEP 3

You will notice the welcome part of the sign comes out black in Design Space. You can cut it black or one of the other colors by clicking on color sync in the layers panel.

Make It

STEP 4

Start with the black pieces first since they will be the first ones on your plaque. Place the black vinyl onto the green standard grip mat so that the shiny side is facing up.
