Layered Butterfly using Cricut

I love these layered butterflies. They are so easy to make using the free svg that comes with this project. If you have ever wanted to know how to make a layered butterfly using Cricut this is the tutorial for you.

MATERIALS NEEDED

•Free SVG •Cricut Machine •Card Stock •Cricut Scoring Stylus •Glue

STEP 1

The first thing you need to do is download the SVG file to your computer. The best thing to do is to have a folder job in your computer for all of your SVGs.

STEP 2

Open Design Space. Click upload on the left menu panel. Select browse and choose the Butterfly SVG. Click open then upload. Highlight the butterfly and click add to canvas.

STEP 3

You can change the colors of the project by highlighting each layer and changing the color in the top color square.

STEP 4

Once you have decided on the colors, click Make It in the upper right corner. Follow the instructions on design space to cut out your project.
