How to Create a Sunflower with Crepe Paper

I love all flowers but particularly sunflowers. It was such a fun project to do but a little time consuming. Regardless, it was well worth it.

MATERIALS NEEDED

•SVG •Cricut maker •Rotary blade •Crepe paper •Floral wire •Hot glue •Scissors

STEP 1

Download the SVG

Download the SVG to your computer by clicking on the link. Unzip the file.

STEP 2

Using the upload button on the left side menu of Design Space upload the SVGs of the small petals, large petals and leaves following the prompts.

STEP 3

There are two sizes of petals, small and large. Cut 14 small yellow petals and 12 large yellow petals. Also, cut 12 green small petals.

STEP 4

The crepe paper for the center needs to be cut by hand. You will need to cut eight 20″ x 2″ strips of brown crepe paper.
