How to Create a Simple Layered Mandala using Cricut Design Space

Mandala’s can be beautiful paper projects to make. They are also simple to do in Cricut Design Space.

I decided to teach you how to make a simple layered mandala using Cricut Design Space in this Cricut tutorial. There are quite a few steps but they are easy to do.

MATERIALS NEEDED

– Cricut Machine – Cricut Design Space – Cricut Access (Optional)

STEP 1

Choose your Outline Shape You can use any simple shape to create your layered mandala.

STEP 2

Create the Outline To create the image’s outline you will use the offset feature in design space. Select the image and click offset on the top menu bar.

STEP 3

Choose the Mandala Shapes to Fill your Image Once again go into the images menu and use the filter to weed out the images.

STEP 4

Prepare the First Mandala Layer Select both the outline and the pattern piece and duplicate them by clicking the duplicate button in the top right layers panel menu.
