How to Create a Halloween Shadow Box with Layers

I know it seems early but there is always so much to do. I decided to design this layered Halloween shadow box that can also be made as a Halloween mini quilt.

MATERIALS NEEDED

•SVG •Shadow box •Glitter cardstock •Cardstock •Cricut •Craft glue •Adhesive foam squares

STEP 1

Download the SVG

Download the SVG by clicking on the link and unzipping the file. You will see several types of files. If you are using your Cricut like I am download the SVG otherwise print out the PDF.

STEP 2

Upload the SVG to Design Space using the upload button on the left side menu bar and following the prompts.

STEP 3

Using the shapes button on theft side of Design Space draw a Square that measures 8″ x 8″ and color it blue. Highlight it and click arrange send to back.

STEP 4

Click Make It in the top right corner. Choose on Mat. Use the light blue mat and medium weight cardstock. Follow the prompts to cut out the pieces.
